    主要研究興趣為研製新穎材料,操控材料之物理性質,量測分析材料之特性,以及發掘新奇之物理現象,所著重之主題包括:因結構局限引起之量子效應,如量子井,量子線,量子點;氮化物半導體之特性;研製特殊結構操控光學與電學特性,如光子晶體;與表面電漿子;有機與無機之複合物質。使用之主要實驗系統有光化學與電漿沈積系統,靜電力影像,陰極螢光光譜,掃描電子影像術,電子束蝕刻技術,電化學沈積法,光激螢光譜,遠紅外光磁譜,拉曼散射,近場光譜,與其他基本之光電量測系統。
