Research

Particle theory, Flavor, CP, QCD, SUSY 

Focus on flavor and CP problem, especially on observable effects. The effect of penguins and new physics; on interplay of strong dynamics and rescattering; the possibilities of intrinsic charm and other exotics such as hybrids and glueball effects: 

B decay to Baryons; 4th generation signatures; SUSY and flavor violation in B decay And at colliders, Coordinate NCTS Topical Programs on B and CP to enhance Taiwan Physics output, and strengthen interaction with experiment. Particle Experiment: Belle, CMS, Neutriono Astrophysics Initiate NTUHEP and join Belle in 1994. First Bhabha event (Extreme Forward Calorimeter, EFC) at KEKB in 1999. Member of Executive Board and Convenor of Rare Decays subgroup, generating tremendous physics output since 2000. Under MOE "Academic Excellence" grant (1/2000 - 3/2004) Cosmology and Particle Astrophysics. Subproject II, Join Belle SVD2 upgrade and JLC effort, and pursue novel neutrino telescope for point source detection via mountain/valley. Join CMS in 1999 (NSC-CERN MOU on LHC in 2000), responsible for Preshower Mother Board electronics.
