  • Low-dimensional nanomaterials and related hybrids based on carbon, Si, III-nitrides and metal oxides, and chalcogenides
  • Design and process of materials using chemical and physical vapor deposition, in particular, those involving plasma or highly energized processes
  • Integrated micro-devices using the above-mentioned materials for optoelectronics, electronics, energy and sensing applications

Recent topics
Most recent research topics are focused on the development of earth-abundant materials for photosynthesis and CO2 conversion, solar-hydrogen and solar-fuels, solar cells, fuel cells, supercapacitors and thermoelectric applications.
