Research
Experimental High Energy Physics, Particle Physics, Particle Astrophysics
  1. Study direct CP violation in neutral kaon KL rare decays and participate experiment E391A at KEK, Japan. Although direct CP violation has been discovered recently in neutral kaon system, but in rare kaon decay can offer more clean and stringent constraint to Standard Model physics.
  2. Search for Higgs and new physics beyond Standard Model at Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, Switzerland and participate in CMS experiment and Preshower detector construction. LHC will be the highest energy proton collider in the world starting from 2007 for the next decade in particle physics to search for new phenomena.
  3. Study CP violation in B-meson decays and rare B-meson decay search, participate the Belle experiment at KEK, Japan. Currently B-physics is the main stream of particle physics to test the Standard Model.
  4. Neutrino telescope R&D to search for the very energetic cosmic tau-neutrino in PeV to EeV range in the universe.
